UPS system Digitus OnLine 10 kVA 10 kW
The DIGITUS OnLine 10 kVA 10 kW UPS is a parallel-redundant, double-conversion rack/tower system designed to provide continuous, fail-safe power for industrial and network-critical applications. It delivers a high power factor (1.0) and high online efficiency to maximize usable output and reduce energy loss. The unit is compact (2U rack height) with a metal housing and supports external battery modules (ordered separately, part number DN-170108) to extend runtime. The UPS includes network management options and a user-friendly LCD for status monitoring and configuration. It has no internal batteries and supports parallel/redundant operation of up to four devices for increased availability.
High power factor (1.0) and elevated active output allow more connected loads within the rated capacity, saving rack space and reducing system cost. The UPS operates with high efficiency in online double-conversion mode, improving energy management and lowering heat dissipation. A clear LCD display simplifies installation, configuration and daily operation. Compact rack/tower design requires only 2U of rack space. Multiple communication interfaces (RS232/USB, parallel port, SNMP slot) enable remote monitoring and control. Automatic battery self-test, fan speed control and REPO (Remote Emergency Power Off) increase component life and provide safe shutdown in emergencies. The system supports parallel or redundant configurations (up to four units) and external battery cabinets for scalable runtime.
Install the UPS in a standard 19-inch rack using 2U of space or place it as a tower on a stable, ventilated surface. Connect the input mains and critical loads according to the site electrical design and local regulations. Fit external battery modules (DN-170108) if runtime extension is required; internal batteries are not supplied. Use the LCD display to view status, alarms and configuration menus. For remote monitoring and management, connect the USB Type-B or RS232 port and install compatible management software or insert an SNMP card in the dedicated slot. Configure parallel operation when deploying more than one unit, following the manufacturer’s parallel-connection procedure.
Place the UPS in a clean, temperature-controlled environment with adequate ventilation. Verify compatibility of external battery modules before installation. Schedule regular battery self-tests and monitor fan operation via the LCD or network management to ensure continuous availability.
