The DIGITUS CAT 6A shielded keystone module pack of 12 provides a compact, tool-free solution for high-speed Ethernet installations. Each flat, silver module features an RJ-45 socket and 360° shield contacting to ensure reliable screened connections for data, voice and network cabling. Designed for snap-in mounting into keystone wall plates, modular junction boxes and 19" distribution panels, the modules support CAT 6A performance up to 500 MHz and are suitable for PoE deployments.

How to use

Insert the module into a compatible keystone opening or 19" patch panel until it snaps into place. Terminate the cable by placing conductors into the color-coded LSA insulation displacement connectors according to the chosen wiring scheme (EIA/TIA 568 A or B) and press to secure the connection; no special tools are required. Use the integrated strain relief and cable tie position to fix the cable and close the reclosable cable manager. Fit the dust protection cap on the RJ-45 socket if the port is not in use.

Usage recommendations

For optimal performance, use quality CAT 6A or higher cabling and follow EIA/TIA wiring standards. Avoid excessive bending near the termination point, ensure proper shield grounding in the distribution panel, and verify PoE power budgets for connected devices. Regularly inspect mating cycles and replace modules showing wear beyond rated usage.
