The Digitus Cat. 6A keystone module set (8 pcs) is a shielded keystone solution for category 6A networks that integrates an intelligent, resealable cable manager for cable grip and fixation. The compact modules are suitable for 19" 1U patch panels or modular junction boxes and support PoE standards while providing 360° shield contact and dust protection for the RJ45 jack.

Advantages

The modules offer 360° shielding for improved EMC performance, a tool-free field-installable design with LSA insulation-displacement connectors color-coded for EIA/TIA 568 A & B, and a resealable cable manager that secures and fixes cables without additional tools. The compact dimensions allow high-density 483 mm (19") 1U panel installation and the product is GHMT certified.

How to use

Insert each keystone module into a compatible 19" 1U panel cutout or modular junction box. Strip the cable to the specified length, place conductors into the LSA termination according to the chosen EIA/TIA 568 A or B wiring scheme, and terminate by pressing into the insulation-displacement connector. Close the resealable intelligent cable manager to secure the cable and ensure 360° shield contact is maintained. Replace the dust protection cap on unused RJ45 jacks.

Usage recommendations

For reliable performance, use shielded twisted-pair (STP) Cat. 6A cabling and ensure shield grounding continuity. Follow EIA/TIA wiring color codes and validate terminations with a network tester after installation. Store unused modules in a dry environment and avoid excessive cable bending near the termination point.
