DIGITUS Face Plate DN-93831 for Multimedia and Keystone Modules Screwless White 80x80 mm

The DIGITUS Face Plate DN-93831 for Multimedia and Keystone Modules is designed to provide a clean, professional finish for modern network installations. Featuring a white, screwless 80x80 mm frame, this empty box with a front panel securely houses up to two Keystone modules. It integrates seamlessly into structured cabling systems in both residential and office environments, ensuring a neat and organized appearance for all wall outlets.

Advantages

This face plate offers a screwless design that enhances the aesthetic appeal of any room while simplifying the installation process. The integrated dust protection shutters effectively safeguard unused ports from dirt and debris. With a 45-degree vertical and inclined outlet layout, cable strain is significantly reduced, preventing sharp bends and maintaining optimal signal integrity. Furthermore, the inclusion of a plastic label field allows for clear and easy port identification, and the central ground connection ensures reliable electrical safety.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling and network installations in offices and homes
• Housing up to two shielded or unshielded Keystone modules
• Installation in cavity sockets, trunking systems, and surface mount boxes
• Flush-mounted and surface-mounted wall outlet configurations

When it may not be suitable

This face plate may not be suitable if your installation requires more than two Keystone modules in a single gang box, as it is strictly designed to house a maximum of two ports. Additionally, it is not intended for outdoor use or in environments exposed to high moisture levels without proper weather-resistant external enclosures.

How to use

Begin by preparing your wall cutout, trunking system, or surface mount box according to the required dimensions. Route your network cables through the mounting area and terminate them into compatible Keystone modules. Snap the terminated Keystone modules securely into the 45-degree port slots on the central plate of the face plate. Secure the inner metal frame and housing to the wall or mounting box, and then gently snap the screwless white 80x80 mm outer frame into place over the assembly for a finished look. Use the integrated label field to mark the port connections for easy future reference.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your existing wall boxes or trunking systems are compatible with the 80x80 mm dimensions
• Confirm that you are using compatible Keystone modules that fit the standard mounting interface
• Check whether a 1-port or 2-port configuration meets your current and future network connection needs

For optimal network performance and longevity, ensure cables are not bent beyond their minimum bend radius during installation inside the trunking or wall box, and always keep the integrated dust covers closed when ports are not actively in use.
