Description

Expand the HDMI IP Extender Set (DS-55351) with additional receiver units to distribute AV content to up to 253 displays simultaneously. The Digitus HDMI IP receiver 4K/60Hz (DS-55352) uses an IP-based, point-to-multipoint architecture over a 1G network and supports cascading through additional 1G switches or existing infrastructure. It delivers UHD video up to 4K/60Hz (4096x2160p) with low latency and includes an IR interface for remote control of the input source. The compact metal housing is suitable for wall mounting and the device uses CAT6 (or higher) cables for stable transmission.

Advantages

The receiver allows large-scale distribution by expanding an existing DS-55351 transmitter setup to a maximum of 253 receivers, enabling simultaneous playback across many screens. Transmission over 1G Ethernet and cascading via additional switches lets you extend signals over unlimited distance in practical installations. Video quality supports up to Ultra HD 4K/60Hz with minimal latency (150–220 ms for 4K) and HDCP 2.2 compliance; power consumption is low and the unit offers protection against short circuit, overvoltage and ESD. How to use

Connect the HDMI source to the DS-55351 transmitter and link the transmitter to your 1G network switch using a CAT6 (or higher) cable. Install additional Digitus HDMI IP receivers (DS-55352) at each display location and connect each receiver’s HDMI output to the screen. Power the receivers via the DC 5V/1A input or compatible power supply, connect the RJ45 port to the network, and perform firmware updates via the Micro USB port if required. Use the IR input on the receiver to forward remote-control commands to the source device. Configure network routing and any cascade topology on your switches to achieve the desired distribution across up to 253 receivers.

Usage recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, use CAT6 or better shielded cables, enterprise-grade 1G switches for cascading, and keep HDMI cable runs under 5 m. Ensure firmware is up to date and provide proper ventilation for wall-mounted units.
