Antenna amplifier DIPOL LNA-188 — screened TV/RF LNA for 188–5G signals
DIPOL LNA-188 is a screened antenna low-noise amplifier designed to improve TV and RF reception across the 188–5G frequency range. Intended for installation close to outdoor antennas, the amplifier increases weak signals before they travel through coaxial cable to tuners, set-top boxes or DVB receivers. The metal screening reduces susceptibility to external electromagnetic interference, helping to maintain a cleaner signal path in terrestrial TV and digital broadcast environments.
The device provides low-noise gain for signals within the 188–5G band while the screened housing minimizes interference from nearby sources. Its design supports installation near the antenna to reduce cable loss impact and improve the signal-to-noise ratio for downstream equipment. The amplifier is compatible with standard coaxial systems used in terrestrial TV reception and digital broadcasts.
Mount the amplifier as close as practicable to the outdoor antenna to ensure the weakest possible signal travels through the coaxial cable. Connect the antenna output to the amplifier input and the amplifier output to the coaxial run toward the tuner or set-top box. Ensure connectors are properly tightened and weatherproofed where exposed. Power the amplifier according to the installer’s instructions and verify reception on the downstream device, making fine adjustments to antenna positioning if necessary.
Place the screened amplifier near the antenna and use quality, low-loss coaxial cable to minimize additional signal degradation. Avoid placing the unit near strong RF transmitters or noisy electrical equipment, and ensure connections are sealed against moisture when installed outdoors.
