Divers Cat5e Networking Cable F/UTP FTP RJ-45 15m Grey 1000 Mbit/s

The Divers Cat5e Networking Cable F/UTP FTP RJ-45 15m Grey 1000 Mbit/s is a reliable wired networking solution designed to establish stable internet and local network connections in homes and offices. With a generous length of 15 meters, this gray Ethernet cable provides sufficient reach between distant network devices such as routers, switches, desktop computers, and gaming consoles. Built to Cat5e standards, it supports data transfer speeds up to 1000 Mbit/s, ensuring smooth web browsing, file sharing, and streaming activities.

Advantages

This networking cable features F/UTP shielding, which helps reduce electromagnetic interference and signal degradation from nearby electrical appliances and power cables. The integrated RJ-45 connectors on both ends ensure wide compatibility with standard Ethernet ports on modern networking hardware. The robust outer jacket provides physical protection for daily use, while the factory-terminated connectors guarantee secure and consistent signal transmission without the need for manual crimping.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers and laptops to a home or office router
• Linking network switches and patch panels within a local area network
• Setting up wired internet connections for smart TVs and gaming consoles
• Extending network coverage across medium-sized rooms up to 15 meters

When it may not be suitable

This cable may not be suitable for high-density enterprise data centers that require higher bandwidth categories such as Cat6a or Cat7 for multi-gigabit speeds over longer distances. Additionally, the 15-meter length might be excessive for connecting devices that are located right next to each other, potentially leading to unnecessary cable clutter.

Key specifications

• Cat5e networking standard performance
• F/UTP overall foil shielding
• RJ-45 male connectors on both ends
• Data transfer rate up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Length of 15 meters
• Color: Grey

How to use

To use the networking cable, insert one RJ-45 connector into an available LAN port on your router, switch, or wall outlet until you hear a click. Take the opposite end of the cable and plug it into the Ethernet port of your target device, such as a computer, smart TV, or gaming console. Ensure the connectors are pushed in straight and fully seated to maintain a stable physical connection. Disconnect the cable by pressing down on the plastic retention tab of the connector and gently pulling it straight out of the port.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that the 15-meter length is appropriate for the distance between your devices to avoid excessive slack
• Check if your network hardware supports Cat5e and gigabit speeds for optimal performance
• Confirm that your devices are equipped with standard RJ-45 Ethernet ports

Usage recommendations

Route the cable safely along walls or under baseboards to prevent tripping hazards and avoid sharp bends or heavy objects resting on the line to maintain signal integrity.
