Flat Angle Profile DMX NA2 200x30x3 mm metal corner strip
Flat angle profile DMX NA2 200x30x3 mm is a metal corner strip designed for reinforcing and protecting the corners of window and door frames as well as flat elements such as shutters and door leaves. Made of zinc-coated steel with a thickness of 3 mm, it provides mechanical strength and a straight, durable edge for finishing works. Compatible fasteners include carpentry anchor nails ø 2 mm and ø 4 mm, wood screws ø 4 mm and ø 5 mm, and M5 screws.
The DMX NA2 profile offers corrosion-resistant zinc coating and robust 3 mm steel construction that resists bending under normal installation loads. Its precise dimensions (200 x 30 x 200 x 3 mm) make it suitable for standardized finishing tasks and allow secure mechanical fastening with commonly available nails and screws. The flat shape simplifies alignment when used as an edge protector or reinforcement strip.
Position the flat angle profile on the corner or edge to be reinforced, align it so both flanges sit flush against the adjoining surfaces, and mark the fastening points. Pre-drill holes if required for the chosen fasteners, then fix the profile with appropriate anchor nails, wood screws or M5 screws. For applications requiring additional adhesion, apply suitable construction adhesive on the contact surfaces before screwing. Ensure the profile is level and flush before the adhesive sets or before tightening all fasteners.
For optimal performance, select fasteners appropriate to the substrate (wood, masonry or drywall) and avoid overtightening screws to prevent local deformation. In exterior or high-humidity environments consider additional corrosion protection despite the zinc coating.
