Safety Cutter Donau DONAU SAFETY DS-NWO2 with non-replaceable blade and hanging loop, yellow

Donau DONAU SAFETY DS-NWO2 is a compact safety cutter with a non-replaceable blade and an integrated hanging loop. The bright yellow housing improves visibility in busy work areas. The fixed blade design reduces the risk of accidental cuts during blade changes and is intended for routine cutting tasks such as opening boxes, cutting tape and trimming film in warehouse, retail and logistics environments.

Advantages

The non-replaceable blade is fully enclosed to limit exposure and minimize handling risks. Its lightweight, ergonomic body and hanging loop enable convenient storage and quick access on hooks or lanyards. The visible yellow color helps locate the cutter quickly and supports tool control and safety procedures in shared workspaces.

Suitable for

• Opening cartons and corrugated boxes
• Cutting adhesive tape and packaging film
• Use in warehouses, retail stockrooms and logistics operations
• Tasks where a low-maintenance, low-risk cutter is preferred

When it may not be suitable

This model is not intended for heavy-duty cutting of thick or reinforced materials because the blade is not replaceable and has limited exposure. It may be unsuitable where precision trimming or frequent blade changes are required, since the fixed blade cannot be serviced or swapped out.

Key specifications

• Blade type: fixed, non-replaceable safety blade
• Body color: yellow for high visibility
• Form factor: compact, hand-held safety cutter
• Storage feature: integrated hanging loop for hook or lanyard
• Primary uses: cutting tape, film and light packaging materials

How to use

Grip the cutter firmly with the blade edge facing the material to be cut and apply steady, controlled pressure while moving the cutter along the cut line. Use the hanging loop to store the cutter on a hook or lanyard when not in use to reduce the risk of misplacement. Inspect the housing regularly for damage; do not attempt to open the unit or replace the blade.

What to consider before purchase

• Required cutting tasks: suitable for light packaging and tape cutting, not for heavy or reinforced materials
• Maintenance preference: fixed blade means no blade changes or blade waste management
• Visibility needs: yellow housing for easy identification in busy areas
• Storage options: hanging loop for hook or lanyard mounting

Usage recommendations

Use the Donau DS-NWO2 for routine, low-risk cutting tasks in environments where blade containment and simple storage are priorities. Replace the entire cutter if the blade becomes dull or the housing is damaged. Follow workplace safety rules: cut away from the body and ensure materials are supported to avoid slips.
