The LOG20 temperature & humidity sensor from dostmann electronic (TFA-Dostmann 31.1052) accurately monitors and records ambient temperature and relative humidity. It stores measured climate values over long periods, making it suitable for transport monitoring, cold stores, server rooms or for documenting prescribed test protocols. Recorded data can also help identify causes of dampness or mould in living spaces. The compact freestanding unit measures 60 × 21 × 89 mm and operates wirelessly for flexible placement.

Advantages

The logger records up to 20,000 measurements for two measured quantities with a freely adjustable storage interval from 30 seconds to 24 hours. Data can be read out and the device programmed via USB. The unit includes maximum, minimum and average (AVG) functions and issues a visual alarm when user-defined limit values are exceeded or undershot. The device is entirely made in Germany.

How to use

Place the freestanding LOG20 unit in the monitored location and set the desired storage interval. If required, connect the logger to a PC via USB to program settings and download recorded data using the DE-GRAPH software (software and USB cable available separately or as a set with the logger). Use the device display to view current, maximum, minimum and average values and to check visual alarms for limit breaches.

Usage recommendations

For reliable long-term climate records, position the unit away from direct heat sources, radiators and windows. Regularly download and back up recorded data and verify alarm thresholds before starting a monitoring period.
