Power Extension Strip DPM 12 sockets with 2 switches, white, model 08695
The DPM power extension strip 12 sockets with 2 switches (model 08695) in white provides a practical solution for expanding AC outlet capacity. Designed to allow connection of multiple electrical devices, it groups sockets under two independent switches so you can control separate sets of connected equipment without unplugging. The compact elongated housing fits on floors, behind furniture or in AV racks where several appliances, chargers or tools need to be powered from a single wall outlet.
The extension strip offers twelve grounded sockets in a single unit with two independently operated switches that enable selective power control for different groups of outlets. The white finish integrates unobtrusively into home and office interiors. Its design reduces the need to repeatedly plug and unplug devices, and helps to centralize power management for workstations, entertainment systems and small workshop benches.
This extension strip is intended to distribute standard AC power to multiple plug-in devices. It is not a substitute for a dedicated heavy-duty circuit or for high-current appliances that require their own rated connection (such as large electric heaters or industrial machinery). It also does not replace surge protection or UPS devices for sensitive equipment unless such features are explicitly present.
Place the extension strip on a stable, dry surface near a wall outlet and plug its mains lead into a properly rated socket. Connect devices to the available outlets and use the two switches to turn the grouped sockets on or off as needed. Avoid overloading by checking the total current draw of connected appliances and switching off groups when not in use. Keep ventilation clear and prevent liquids from entering the housing.
Use the two switches to isolate groups of devices when not in use to save energy and simplify power management. For high-value or sensitive equipment, combine the extension strip with a surge protector or an uninterruptible power supply as appropriate.
