How to use

For coffee, tea and espresso machines: pour 500 ml of water into the machine tank and add 50 ml (about 1/2 cup) of descaler. Increase the amount proportionally for heavier limescale or larger appliances. Start the descaling programme or run the appliance until the cleaning cycle is complete. Rinse the appliance by repeating the procedure 1–2 times using clean water.

For electric kettles: add 50 ml of descaler to the kettle and pour in 500 ml of water. Do not heat the kettle. The scale will begin to loosen and slight bubbling may occur; when bubbling stops, the process is complete. For heavier deposits, use 100–150 ml of product, fill to the maximum mark and leave for 10–15 minutes. Empty and rinse thoroughly with clean water.

For steam irons, steam generators, rice or egg cookers and steamers: follow the appliance manufacturer's descaling instructions. If the appliance has a removable water filter, remove it before cleaning.

Usage recommendations

Important: the descaler is acidic and may damage acid-sensitive surfaces such as enamel, marble, silver, zinc or chrome. Avoid contact with these surfaces and follow appliance manufacturer guidance.
