The Ducky One 3 Aura is a full-size (100%) USB mechanical keyboard in black with a US International QWERTY layout and customizable RGB LED backlighting. It features a translucent design that allows RGB lighting to pass through while softening the view of components underneath, double-shot keycaps with a block-style inspired by architectural concrete, and a dual-layer PCB for improved signal stability and longevity.
Translucent surfaces enhance RGB effects without exposing internal components. The double-shot keycaps provide durable legends and a modern aesthetic. An optimized construction with balanced weight distribution and lowered case height increases stability during intense typing or gaming. Multi-layer padding and an EVA foam layer under the PCB offer authentic, controlled acoustics and reduce unwanted noise. Hot-swappable Kailh sockets let you change mechanical switches without desoldering, and a detachable USB Type-C connection supports a 1000 Hz polling rate for responsive input.
Connect the keyboard to a computer using the detachable USB Type-C cable. Install switches by inserting them into the Kailh hot-swap sockets if you wish to change switches; removal is done by gently pulling the switch out without desoldering. Use the built-in controls to adjust RGB brightness, speed, and color. Select the preferred keyboard angle with the two-step feet to choose one of three tilt positions. The dual-layer PCB supports NKRO or 6-Key rollover for simultaneous key presses.
For best acoustic results, choose switches that match your sound preference and ensure the EVA foam layer and internal padding remain correctly seated. When swapping switches, power off the host or unplug the keyboard to avoid accidental inputs. Clean keycaps with a soft cloth and avoid liquids near the PCB to maintain longevity.
