Ducky One 3 TKL Keyboard Gaming USB Black Mechanical RGB LED
The Ducky One 3 TKL Keyboard Gaming USB Black Mechanical RGB LED is a tenkeyless wired mechanical keyboard optimized for gaming and fast typing. It features a compact 80–87% form factor in a black finish, translucent design elements that allow RGB lighting to pass through, and double-shot AC Block keycaps with a concrete-inspired aesthetic. The keyboard offers hot-swappable Kailh sockets, a detachable USB Type-C cable with a 1000 Hz polling rate, multi-layer acoustic padding and EVA foam under the PCB for improved sound performance, and adjustable tilt with three angle positions.
The hot-swappable mechanical design simplifies switch replacement and experimentation without soldering, while Kailh yellow sockets deliver reliable connections. Translucent surfaces and full RGB backlighting produce clear, customizable lighting effects that show through the AC Block double-shot keycaps. A dual-layer PCB with anti-ghosting supports NKRO or 6-key rollover to ensure accurate input during simultaneous key presses. The optimized weight distribution, lowered case height and multi-layer padding enhance typing stability and acoustic quality for consistent performance during extended sessions.
Connect the keyboard to your computer using the detachable USB Type-C cable. Install switches by inserting compatible mechanical switches into the hot-swap Kailh sockets if you wish to change them; remove switches by gently pulling them out with a switch puller. Use the built-in controls to adjust RGB lighting, brightness, speed and predefined effects. Select the desired keyboard angle with the two-step feet. For NKRO or 6-key rollover configuration, consult the keyboard’s quick guide to toggle rollover mode if available.
For stable acoustics and prolonged switch life, use compatible mechanical switches and avoid forcing incompatible switch types into sockets. Keep the detachable USB Type-C cable secured during transport. Clean the keycaps and surface periodically using compressed air or a soft brush; remove keycaps when necessary for deeper cleaning. If you change many switches, verify connections and test all keys before gameplay or long typing sessions to ensure expected performance.
