The Ducky One 3 TKL keyboard in silver is a tenkeyless mechanical gaming keyboard with USB Type-C connection and customizable RGB lighting. It has true PBT double-shot keycaps with a frosted finish for long-lasting legends and resistance to shine and stains. The keyboard features an optimized low-profile case with precise weight distribution, multi-layer acoustic padding and an EVA foam layer under the PCB to improve sound and reduce unwanted noise. The detachable USB Type-C interface supports USB HID at a 1000 Hz polling rate. This hot-swappable design uses Kailh yellow hot-swap sockets, while a dual-layer PCB with anti-ghosting supports N-key or 6-key rollover.
True PBT double-shot keycaps ensure legends do not fade and provide a durable, shine-resistant typing surface. The lowered case height and balanced weight distribution enhance keyboard stability during intense use. Multi-layer padding and an EVA foam layer improve acoustic performance and reduce extraneous noise. Hot-swappable Kailh sockets allow easy switch replacement without soldering, and a 1000 Hz USB HID connection ensures fast, responsive input. Connect the keyboard to your computer using the detachable USB Type-C cable. Insert compatible mechanical switches into the Kailh hot-swap sockets by aligning pins and pressing firmly; to remove a switch, pull it straight out with a switch puller. Use the onboard controls or supplied software (if available) to configure RGB lighting and key mappings. For optimal responsiveness, ensure your system recognizes the device as a USB HID device at 1000 Hz polling rate.
For quieter operation and best acoustic results, install switches with appropriate dampening (such as silent or lubed switches) and use compatible keycap sets. Keep the detachable USB cable secure to avoid accidental disconnection during use.
