Perch sandpaper covers for bird perches Duvo+ model 134121 — 1.3/19 cm, pack of 4

Perch sandpaper covers for bird perches Duvo+ model 134121 — 1.3/19 cm, pack of 4 provide a textured surface that attaches to compatible perches to help maintain beak and claw length in small to medium companion birds. Each cover measures 1.3 cm in diameter and 19 cm in length and is designed to be fitted over an existing perch to create a low-maintenance abrasive surface. The product supports routine grooming by encouraging natural filing when birds grip and move along the perch.

Advantages

These sandpaper covers offer a practical solution for regular beak and nail maintenance without requiring direct trimming. They are supplied in a set of four, providing multiple replacement cycles or the ability to outfit several perches. The textured surface is intended to be gentle enough for routine contact while providing sufficient abrasion to reduce overgrowth of claws and beaks. Installation over existing perches keeps the perch usable for perching and movement.

Suitable for

• Small to medium-sized companion birds such as parakeets, cockatiels and lovebirds
• Owners who prefer passive beak and nail maintenance methods
• Aviaries or cages where multiple perches require abrasion surfaces

• Dimensions: 1.3 cm diameter × 19 cm length each

How to use

Slide a sandpaper cover onto a compatible round perch so that it fits snugly along the perch length. Position covers where birds naturally land and walk to encourage contact with beaks and claws. Check the fit regularly and ensure the covers remain secure; replace individual covers when abrasive surface is worn or frayed. Continue routine health checks for beak and claws and consult an avian veterinarian if abnormal wear or overgrowth is observed.

Usage recommendations

Inspect the covers frequently for wear and sharp edges. Use the covers as part of an overall foot and beak care routine, combining them with varied perch diameters and materials to support foot health and natural activity.
