DYMO IND Flexible Nylon 12mm x 3.5m Black on White Tape

DYMO IND Flexible Nylon 12mm x 3.5m Black on White Tape is a durable thermal-transfer labeling tape designed for identification of wires, cables and curved or textured surfaces. The 12 mm wide nylon tape provides a black-on-white print contrast that is easy to read. The flexible, tear-resistant material conforms to rounded shapes and holds securely in place, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. Supplied in a box for convenient storage and handling, this tape is compatible with thermal transfer printing and is tested for jobsite durability.

Advantages

The nylon construction offers high tear resistance and flexibility so labels conform tightly to cables and rounded surfaces without lifting. Thermal transfer printing produces durable, fade-resistant text that remains legible over time. Strong adhesion ensures labels stay in place on textured or curved substrates, while the 12 mm width balances compact labeling with clear readability. The product's packaging supports easy storage and on-site use.

Suitable for

• Labeling electrical wires and cable bundles
• Marking rounded conduits and pipes
• Identification of equipment in industrial or outdoor environments
• Situations requiring tear-proof, flexible labels that conform to irregular surfaces

Key specifications

• Material: Flexible nylon
• Print method: Thermal transfer
• Width: 12 mm
• Length: 3.5 m
• Color: Black print on white tape
• Adhesion: High-strength adhesive suitable for curved and textured surfaces
• Durability: Tear-resistant, suitable for indoor and outdoor use

How to use

Install the tape in a compatible thermal transfer label printer according to the printer manufacturer's instructions. Create labels with clear, concise text sized to the 12 mm width, then print and cut to the required length. Apply labels to a clean, dry surface and press firmly to ensure full contact, especially on rounded cables or textured areas. For best results on outdoor installations, ensure surfaces are free of oil, dust, or moisture before application.

Usage recommendations

Use the tape for permanent identification of wires, cables and conduits where tear resistance and conformity to curved surfaces are required. Store the unopened roll in a cool, dry place and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight prior to application. For critical electrical labeling, verify readability and adhesion after installation and follow any site-specific or regulatory marking standards.
