Grounding Hardware e+p AF 21
The e+p AF 21 grounding hardware provides galvanic separation for the ungrounded connection of an antenna cable to prevent hum and interference. Constructed from durable metal, polyethylene and PVC with a black finish, the unit is designed for reliable grounding in various installations and complies with WEEE and RoHS standards.
Galvanic isolation reduces the risk of ground loops and audible hum when connecting antenna cables. The combination of metal, polyethylene and PVC gives mechanical strength and electrical insulation where required. Compact design and standard coax plug and coax jack connectors ensure compatibility with common antenna and RF cabling.
Connect the antenna cable to the device using the coax plug and coax jack; the AF 21 provides galvanic separation between the cable and the grounded system to reduce hum. Mount or place the unit according to your installation requirements, ensuring connectors are properly seated and any protective covers or housings are secured. Follow any local grounding and installation regulations applicable to your setup.
Use the AF 21 in installations where reducing ground loop noise is necessary. Ensure the device is used with compatible coaxial connectors and in environments consistent with its material construction; avoid prolonged exposure to unprotected outdoor conditions unless additional weatherproofing is provided.
