Uninterruptible Power Supply Eaton 9SX 6 kVA
The Eaton 9SX 6 kVA is an online double-conversion uninterruptible power supply designed for rack or tower deployment. With a rated capacity of 6 kVA (output power 5400 W), an LCD display, terminal AC outlets and ENERGY STAR certification, it provides reliable power protection and efficient operation for infrastructure, industrial, medical, IT, networking, storage and telecom environments. Typical backup time is around 15 minutes at half load.
The UPS delivers continuous double‑conversion voltage regulation to protect sensitive equipment from power disturbances while achieving up to 95% efficiency. Compact tower/rack form factor and an LCD interface simplify installation and monitoring. ENERGY STAR certification indicates optimized energy use and lower operating costs. The unit includes a USB 2.0 port for basic communication and management.
Install the Eaton 9SX in a suitable rack or on a stable surface in tower orientation, ensuring adequate ventilation and ambient temperature within the manufacturer’s recommended range. Connect critical equipment to the UPS’s AC outlets and link the unit to your management system via the USB port if monitoring is required. Configure output and alarm settings using the LCD menu according to the protected equipment’s power requirements. Test the configuration and perform a controlled load transfer to verify backup operation.
Place the UPS on a level surface or mount it in a compatible rack, avoid exposure to moisture and dust, and schedule regular battery tests and preventive maintenance. For extended runtime, consult Eaton-compatible external battery modules and follow the service intervals recommended by the manufacturer.
