Eaton Ellipse PRO 1200 DIN UPS Line-Interactive 1.2 kVA 750 W 8 AC outlets
The Eaton Ellipse PRO 1200 DIN is a line-interactive UPS designed to protect workstations and small office equipment. With 1.2 kVA (750 W) output capacity, eight AC outlets and a sealed lead-acid battery, it provides short-term backup power and voltage regulation for connected devices. The unit includes an LCD for real-time status and measurements, Automatic Voltage Regulation (buck and boost), EcoControl outlets for reduced energy consumption, advanced surge protection compliant with IEC 61643-1 and a USB port for safe shutdown and monitoring via Eaton software.
The UPS provides clean, regulated output through AVR technology, reducing the risk of downtime from brownouts and voltage spikes. EcoControl outlets allow selective power control to save energy, and the built-in surge protection meets international standards. The integrated LCD supplies status and measurement information at a glance, while the USB interface supports automatic safe shutdown and monitoring. Compact, extra-flat tower design and eight AC outlets simplify installation and connectivity for a PC and peripherals.
This UPS provides typical backup time of around 9 minutes at half load and is intended for short-term power support; it is not suitable as a long-duration standby power source for extended outages. It is designed for single-phase desktop and small office equipment and is not appropriate for large servers, data centre racks, or high-power industrial equipment that exceed the 750 W rating.
Place the Eaton Ellipse PRO 1200 DIN on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation and connect your critical equipment to the battery-backed AC outlets and less critical loads to EcoControl outlets as required. Connect the UPS to a host computer via the USB port and install Eaton UPS Companion software to enable automatic safe shutdown and monitoring. The LCD provides real-time information on input/output voltage, load level and battery status. Test the configuration after installation and perform periodic battery checks according to the manufacturer’s guidance.
Use the EcoControl outlets to reduce energy consumption by switching non-critical equipment off during standby, monitor battery status via the LCD and Eaton software, and schedule a full battery replacement according to operating hours and manufacturer instructions to maintain reliable backup performance.
