Uninterruptible Power Supply UPS Eaton MBP3KIH
The Eaton HotSwap MBP series comprises versatile 2U power distribution units (PDUs) engineered to increase the availability of uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) up to 3,000 VA. Any UPS connected to a HotSwap MBP can be removed or replaced for maintenance or upgrades without interrupting power to the protected equipment. The MBP units are designed for rack installation and offer a compact 2U form factor with a black finish suitable for data center and network racks.
HotSwap MBP PDUs allow hot-swapping of connected UPS devices so that maintenance or upgrades can be performed while keeping downstream loads powered. The units support multiple mounting positions — they can be fastened at the rear of compatible Pulsar UPS models in either front-facing or rear-facing orientations and on the left or right side — which increases installation flexibility. They also provide standard rack, wall mounting, and rear-UPS connection options to fit different enclosure and site requirements.
Install the Eaton HotSwap MBP in a standard 19-inch rack occupying 2U of space, or mount it on a wall or at the rear of a UPS according to site needs. Connect the UPS to the PDU using the appropriate cabling and secure the MBP to the UPS rear if compatible, selecting front- or rear-facing orientation and left or right side as required. Once installed and powered, the HotSwap MBP lets you remove or replace the connected UPS for service without interrupting power to the protected equipment.
Use certified cabling and follow Eaton and site electrical safety guidelines during installation. Verify compatibility with your UPS model before attaching the MBP directly to the UPS rear. Plan maintenance windows and ensure personnel are trained for hot-swap procedures to avoid accidental disruption.
