Tripp Lite SRW12US33 SmartRack 12U Server-Depth Wall-Mount Small Rack Enclosure, Hinged Back
The Tripp Lite SRW12US33 SmartRack 12U server-depth wall-mount small rack enclosure with a hinged back provides a compact, secure mounting solution for networking, telecom and server equipment in locations with limited floor space. This wall-mounted rack supports up to 12U of standard 19-inch rack equipment and is designed for server-depth devices, offering a balance between size and usable internal depth. Finished in black, the enclosure integrates ventilation and cable access while maintaining a professional appearance suitable for office, closet or light-data-center environments.
The enclosure delivers a robust wall-mounted design that conserves floor area and simplifies equipment placement close to workplace or utility areas. Its hinged rear section allows easier access for installation and maintenance of cabling and rear-mounted components. With a rated maximum weight capacity of 90.7 kg, the rack supports a variety of switches, routers, patch panels and compact servers while maintaining structural stability. The server-depth internal dimensions accommodate deeper devices than shallow wall cabinets, increasing compatibility without requiring a full free-standing rack.
Securely mount the SmartRack enclosure to a suitable structural wall using appropriate anchors and fasteners rated for the combined weight of the cabinet and installed equipment. Install rack-mount rails or shelves as required by your devices, then mount equipment from top to bottom to maintain balance. Use the hinged back to route and terminate cables, and verify proper airflow clearance and ventilation. Follow standard safety procedures for electrical and network connections and ensure the total equipment weight does not exceed the rated capacity.
Position heavier equipment toward the bottom of the rack and distribute weight evenly across mounting rails. Allow sufficient front and rear clearance for airflow and service access. When installing in public or accessible areas, consider using lockable front and rear doors or additional security measures to protect equipment. Verify wall structure rating and use qualified installers for mounting to ensure safety and compliance with site requirements.
