Product information

Description

Edifier R1580MB is a compact 2-way wired loudspeaker system designed for 2.0 stereo setups. It delivers 42 W RMS total power and reproduces sound across a 55–20,000 Hz frequency range, providing clear midrange and extended highs suitable for music, movies and multimedia playback. The speakers come in a black enclosure and include a remote control for convenient volume and source adjustments from a distance.

Advantages

The two-way design separates the tweeter and woofer duties to reduce distortion and improve clarity across vocal and instrumental ranges. With a total rated power of 42 W RMS the system achieves balanced output for desktop or small-room listening without excessive size. Wired connectivity ensures stable audio transmission, while the included remote control and compact black cabinets make the speakers easy to integrate with computers, TVs or compact hi-fi setups.

Suitable for

Desktop audio for computers and workstations
Living-room multimedia playback with TV or media players
Small home studio monitoring and reference listening
Music listening in bedrooms or office spaces

Key specifications

Speaker configuration: 2-way, stereo 2.0
Rated power output: 42 W (RMS)
Frequency response: 55–20,000 Hz
Connectivity: wired audio input
Enclosure colour: black
Included control: remote control for volume and source

How to use

Connect the speakers to an audio source using the wired inputs and position the left and right cabinets at an equal distance from the listening position for optimal stereo imaging. Use the front-panel controls or the supplied remote control to adjust volume and select inputs. For initial setup, set the source device’s output level to a moderate setting, then fine-tune the speaker volume to avoid clipping at high levels.

Usage recommendations

Place the speakers on stable surfaces or stands at ear level when seated, and leave some space between the cabinets and nearby walls to reduce bass coloration. For best results in a small room, position them to form an equilateral triangle with the listening position and perform small adjustments to toe-in and distance to improve imaging.
