The ednet Starter Kit Security provides a complete smart home security solution. The kit centers on an HD surveillance camera (Ednet 84337, 1280 x 720) with night vision up to 10 metres and infrared LED technology, a motion sensor for indoor areas, and two contact sensors for doors and windows. The camera acts as the central gateway to the system and integrates additional accessories such as alarm sirens and smart power sockets. The system connects to your wireless LAN and supports voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing live camera images to be displayed on compatible Echo devices and optional accessories to be controlled by voice. Push notifications for detected movements and sensor status changes are sent to your smartphone through the ednet smart home app, and the app also lets you view live images and define automation rules and time-based or conditional behaviours for each component.
