The Ei Electronics Ei428RF Relay Base is a surface-mounted relay interface designed to switch a relay when it receives an alarm signal from a compatible Ei alarm. It provides electrically isolated contacts for signaling and switching loads such as indicator lights or strobes. The unit is mains powered at 230 VAC and includes rechargeable backup cells to maintain operation during mains failure. By default the relay operates continuously but can be set to pulse mode. The Ei428RF is intended primarily for use with RadioLINK devices but can also integrate with conventional hard-wired interconnect systems. The unit uses FM radio transmission with Manchester coding and built-in circuitry to suppress voltage transients and RF interference.
