Drill bit set EINHELL 265505 5-piece concrete spiral SDS-Plus 5, 6, 8, 10 mm

EINHELL 265505 is a 5-piece concrete spiral drill bit set with SDS-Plus shanks designed for use with rotary hammers and SDS-Plus rotary drills. The set contains four core diameters — 5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm — and is intended for drilling into concrete and masonry. Each bit features a spiral flute profile that clears debris during drilling, while the steel construction provides wear resistance appropriate for standard construction, renovation and installation tasks.

Advantages

The SDS-Plus shank ensures secure engagement with compatible rotary hammers and quick bit changes. Spiral flute geometry accelerates dust and chip evacuation from the hole, reducing friction and improving drilling speed in concrete and masonry. The selection of common diameters covers a range of anchor and dowel sizes used in typical installation work. Durable steel construction offers balanced hardness and toughness for repeated use in general-purpose applications.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in concrete for anchors and dowels
• Masonry drilling for installation of fixtures and fittings
• Renovation work requiring multiple hole diameters
• Use with SDS-Plus rotary hammers and compatible drills

Key specifications

• Set composition: 5-piece spiral concrete drill bits
• Shank type: SDS-Plus
• Included diameters: 5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm
• Intended material: concrete and masonry
• Flute type: spiral for chip evacuation
• Material: steel construction for durability

How to use

Select a drill bit with the required diameter and insert it into the SDS-Plus chuck until it locks. Set the rotary hammer to the hammer-drill mode appropriate for concrete. Mark the drilling point and, if necessary, use a centre punch or pilot mark. Start drilling at low speed to position the bit, then apply steady pressure while maintaining the drill perpendicular to the surface. Periodically withdraw the bit to clear accumulated dust and allow cooling; for deep holes, withdraw more frequently. After drilling, clean the hole of debris before inserting anchors or fixings.

Usage recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, hearing protection and a dust mask when drilling concrete. Match the drill mode and speed to the material and bit diameter, avoid excessive axial force that can damage the bit or tool, and store bits dry to prevent corrosion.
