Sanding disc set EINHELL 491912 — 5 pieces, compatible sander accessory
The EINHELL sanding disc set 491912 comprises five 125 mm diameter abrasive discs designed as replacement consumables for random orbital sanders. Each disc is coated with aluminium oxide abrasive and bonded with phenolic resin to provide balanced cutting performance on wood and metal surfaces. The discs feature a strong backing and hook-and-loop fabric for quick attachment and reliable hold during sanding. Supplied as a set of five, these discs suit routine surface preparation tasks such as paint removal, varnish sanding and smoothing filler prior to finishing.
These sanding discs combine aluminium oxide grit and a phenolic resin bond to deliver consistent material removal and durability across wood and metal applications. The 125 mm diameter matches common random orbital sanders and the punched pattern supports dust extraction when used with compatible sander models. Hook-and-loop backing enables fast replacement of discs, reducing downtime during maintenance or refinishing work. The grit 120 offers a medium abrasive grade suitable for smoothing rough surfaces and preparing substrates for subsequent finishing.
Ensure the sander is compatible with 125 mm hook-and-loop discs and that the power tool is switched off before fitting. Align the disc on the sander pad and press firmly to engage the hook-and-loop backing. When sanding, start with light pressure and move the sander evenly across the surface to avoid creating gouges. Use the punched holes and a compatible dust extraction system where available to reduce airborne dust. Replace discs when the abrasive becomes glazed or worn to maintain consistent sanding performance.
Preferably use grit 120 for intermediate smoothing and paint or varnish removal; for heavier material removal choose a coarser grit, and for final finishing step up to a finer grit. Wear appropriate eye, respiratory and hand protection when sanding and follow the sander manufacturer's safety instructions.
