Transparent coolant by ek water blocks designed for custom PC liquid cooling loops. This concentrated EK-CryoFuel formula is intended to be mixed with distilled water (1:9 concentrate to water) to produce a ready-to-use transparent coolant compatible with EK-DuraClear and EK-ZMT tubing and components. It functions as the heat-transfer fluid in radiators, water blocks and tubing, supports sealed loop operation and contains corrosion, scale and biological inhibitors formulated for common metals used in PC liquid cooling systems.

Advantages

The coolant is chemically stable and formulated to minimise sediment formation, helping to keep water blocks and channels clear. Low viscosity reduces the risk of clogging and ensures reliable flow through pumps and narrow passages. Synergistic corrosion inhibitors provide protection for copper, brass, aluminium and stainless steel, while scale and biocidal inhibitors reduce fouling and microbial growth. The concentrate mixes to a biodegradable working fluid and has a stated shelf life of two years from bottling.

How to use

Prepare the working coolant by mixing the 100 mL concentrate with 900 mL of distilled water to obtain 1 litre of ready-to-use fluid. Ensure the distilled water is clean and free of minerals. Fill the drained cooling loop slowly, avoiding air pockets, and run the pump at low speed while topping up until the loop is fully filled and all air is expelled. After filling, operate the system and check for leaks; perform a controlled leak test before normal operation. Follow common safety and disposal practices for coolant handling and spilled liquid.

Usage recommendations

Use only with distilled water and in systems compatible with EK-DuraClear or EK-ZMT tubing. Do not mix with unknown additives or other coolants. Periodically inspect the loop for signs of contamination or reduced flow and perform maintenance according to the cooling system manufacturer's guidance.
