EK-Quantum Vector Strix RTX 3070 D-RGB is a 2nd generation GPU water block from the EK® Quantum Line, made for ASUS® ROG Strix RTX 3070 graphics cards based on NVIDIA® Ampere™ architecture. It actively cools the GPU die, front-mounted VRAM, MOSFETs in the VRM, PWM controller and all chokes. The block uses a CNC-machined nickel-plated copper cold plate and a durable black POM acetal top, with pre-installed brass standoffs and EPDM O-rings for secure, watertight installation. Advantages

The Vector Series employs an Open Split-Flow cooling engine with optimized jet plate and fin geometry to deliver even coolant distribution and low hydraulic restriction, allowing efficient operation even with lower-speed pumps. The second-generation design extends the copper cold plate nearly the full PCB length to cool additional components. The fin array consists of 28 microfins with 0.6 mm microchannels, balancing high thermal transfer with minimal flow resistance and reduced clogging risk. How to use

Position the EK-Quantum Vector Strix RTX 3070 D-RGB water block onto the PCB, ensuring correct alignment of mounting points and thermal pads with GPU, VRAM and VRM components. Fasten using the supplied standoffs and screws, apply appropriate thermal paste on the GPU die and confirm O-rings are seated for a watertight seal.
