EKL Alpenföhn Dolomit Advanced is a single-tower 120 mm CPU cooler designed for efficient processor cooling in standard PC cases. The cooler combines a black anodised heatsink, four high-end heat pipes with a nickel-plated copper base plate, and a Wing Boost 3 ARGB fan to provide balanced thermal performance with low acoustic output. Compact dimensions (120 × 73 × 154 mm) and broad socket support make it suitable for many Intel and AMD systems.

Advantages

The all-black heatsink and top fin provide a uniform appearance while all mounting parts are finished in black for consistent aesthetics. Four high-performance heat pipes and a large-contact copper base plate ensure rapid heat pickup from the CPU and fast transfer to the fin stack. The included Wing Boost 3 ARGB fan offers addressable RGB lighting and a hydraulic bearing for quiet operation across a 500–1800 RPM range, delivering up to 92.6 m³/h airflow and a maximum measured noise level of 23.5 dB. The kit also contains Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut thermal paste and additional fan clips to add a second 120 mm fan for increased cooling capacity.

Mount the cooler using the supplied Rock Mount 3 mounting hardware that supports the listed Intel and AMD sockets. Apply a pea-sized amount of the included Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut thermal paste to the CPU heat spreader, position the nickel-plated copper base plate onto the CPU, and secure the heatsink according to the mounting instructions. Connect the fan to a compatible PWM or voltage-controlled header on the motherboard and, if desired, connect the ARGB cable to a compatible addressable RGB header or controller.

Usage recommendations

For best results, ensure case airflow is optimised (intake and exhaust), verify RAM clearance before installation, and consider adding the optional rear 120 mm fan using the supplied clips if higher cooling performance is required.
