Uninterruptible Power Supply Vertiv Liebert Edge 3000VA
The Vertiv Liebert Edge 3000VA uninterruptible power supply (UPS) protects and prolongs the life of electronic equipment in schools, homes and offices. This 3000VA / 2700W line-interactive UPS provides cost-effective protection against outages, brownouts, sags, surges and electrical noise. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) maintains output between 144 and 290 VAC without using the battery, reducing battery wear. The unit delivers pure sine wave output, supports orderly shutdown of connected systems and has a transfer time to battery of less than 6 milliseconds. It is available for rackmount or tower installation in a compact 2U form factor and includes C14 outlets. An optional Vertiv Liebert Unity communication card enables remote monitoring of up to 50 UPS units via the Vertiv Trellis Power Insight application. The product includes a 3-year Vertiv UPS warranty.
The Vertiv Liebert Edge 3000VA combines line-interactive voltage regulation and pure sine wave output to protect critical IT equipment such as network closets and small data centers while minimizing battery cycling. Fast transfer to battery and AVR preserve connected devices and extend battery life. The compact 2U design allows flexible rackmount or tower placement and the optional communication card supports centralized remote monitoring of multiple UPS systems.
Install the Vertiv Liebert Edge in a suitable rack space or place it as a tower on a stable surface. Connect critical equipment to the UPS C14 outlets and ensure the input power source matches the specified voltage. If required, install the optional Vertiv Liebert Unity communication card and configure monitoring with the Vertiv Trellis Power Insight application to monitor up to 50 units. Test the system after installation to verify proper transfer to battery and AVR operation. Follow local electrical codes and the user manual for safe installation and maintenance.
For optimal battery life, avoid prolonged operation in battery mode and use the AVR function to handle minor voltage fluctuations. Schedule periodic battery tests and follow the manufacturer’s maintenance guidelines. Use remote monitoring to track the status of multiple UPS units and plan battery replacements before capacity falls below required levels.
