UPS Tower/Rack 2000VA/2000W, Emerson Network Power Vertiv Liebert GXT5, 230V, 8×C13, C20 inlet, 36V 9Ah VRLA, Rack 2U, Intellislot RDU101
The Vertiv Liebert GXT5 UPS 2000VA/2000W is a 2U, single-phase online double-conversion UPS designed to protect servers, network equipment and other critical IT loads. It delivers 2000 VA / 2000 W output and supports user-configurable AC voltages (200/208/220/230/240 V). The unit includes 8 C13 outlets, a C20 inlet, sealed lead‑acid (VRLA) 36 V 9 Ah batteries with hot‑swappable capability, a rackmount kit for 2U installation and a built‑in Intellislot RDU101 communications card for remote monitoring and control. ENERGY STAR® 2.0 certified, it offers high normal‑mode efficiency and an Eco‑mode option, with scalable runtime via compatible external battery cabinets.
Online, double‑conversion topology protects connected equipment from all types of power disturbances without drawing on battery power during normal conditions, extending battery life. Hot‑swappable batteries and a rack/tower installation kit simplify maintenance and deployment. Built‑in RDU101 communications enable remote monitoring and faster event resolution. ENERGY STAR 2.0 certification and Eco‑mode provide improved energy efficiency. Scalable runtime with external battery cabinets supports extended backup when needed.
Install the UPS in a 19" rack using the included 2U rackmount kit or place it upright as a tower using the supplied hardware. Connect utility power to the C20 inlet and connect critical devices to the C13 outlets. Configure the input/output voltage to match your site requirements (200–240 V) and connect the Intellislot RDU101 to your monitoring system for remote status and event notifications. Replace batteries with the hot‑swappable units when indicated by the UPS; follow the manufacturer’s battery replacement procedure to avoid downtime.
Place the UPS in a well‑ventilated environment with ambient temperature within the manufacturer's specified range, avoid blocking vents, and verify load does not exceed the 2000 W rating. For extended runtimes, use compatible external battery cabinets and schedule periodic battery tests and firmware updates via the RDU101 monitoring interface.
