Outdoor antenna Emos J0806 30 dB Metallic 10 m cable
Outdoor antenna Emos J0806 30 dB Metallic 10 m cable
The Emos J0806 outdoor antenna provides directional TV signal reception with a rated gain of 30 dB. Designed for external installation, the unit includes a 10 m coaxial cable and operates from DC power at 5/12 V. Its compact metallic housing with dimensions 400 mm (width) x 39 mm (depth) x 330 mm (height) fits on masts, walls or balcony mounts and is intended for receiving terrestrial television signals in locations where signal strength is variable.
The metallic finish offers corrosion resistance suitable for outdoor exposure while maintaining a slim profile that minimizes visual impact. A 30 dB gain improves reception of weak or distant broadcast signals, and the included 10 m cable simplifies routing to an indoor TV or set-top box. Dual-voltage DC operation (5/12 V) enables compatibility with a variety of TV tuners and amplifiers without additional adapters in most installations.
Mount the antenna on a suitable outdoor support such as a mast, wall bracket or balcony rail ensuring a clear line of sight toward the broadcast transmitter when possible. Route the included 10 m cable to the indoor receiver, taking care to avoid sharp bends and exposure of connectors to standing water. Connect the antenna cable to the TV or set-top box input and supply DC power at the required voltage through the receiver or an inline power injector if needed. After installation, perform channel auto-scan on the receiver and, if necessary, make small adjustments to antenna orientation to optimise signal quality.
For best results, install the antenna at the highest practical outdoor location and ensure the mounting is secure against wind. Use weatherproof connector covers or sealant on exposed connections to prevent water ingress. If reception is marginal, consider pairing the antenna with a compatible signal amplifier or repositioning to a more favourable direction toward the transmitting station.
