The EMOS E8620 wireless digital weather station in black combines a bezel-less colour LED VA display with multiple environmental sensors to provide indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, time, date, moon phases, and barometric information. The unit supports one included wireless outdoor sensor (powered by 2× AAA) and can accept up to three additional compatible sensors. Power for the main unit is supplied by the included 5 V DC/1000 mA adapter or by 2× AAA batteries (not included). The display shows minimum and maximum measurements and indicates sensor battery charge to prompt replacement when needed.

Advantages

The frameless LED VA display gives improved contrast and deep black for good legibility in various lighting conditions. How to use

Connect the main unit to the included 5 V DC adapter for continuous backlight and stable operation, or insert 2× AAA batteries if portable placement is required (batteries not included). Install 2× AAA batteries into the wireless outdoor sensor and position it within the transmission range (up to 80 m, subject to obstacles) to enable outdoor readings. The main unit will automatically receive and display sensor data; follow the quick setup prompts to set time zone, DCF clock reception, language and preferred units (°C/°F). Use the front buttons to view min/max records, switch time format, set the alarm, and manually activate brief backlight when on battery power.

Usage recommendations

For best reception, place the outdoor sensor away from large metal objects and sources of strong radio interference, and keep it sheltered from direct rain. Use the supplied adapter when you require permanent backlight and continuous display; use fresh alkaline AAA batteries in the sensor and replace them when the sensor battery indicator is shown.
