The EMU Electronic AM 18-12 is a sealed, maintenance-free VRLA AGM lead-acid battery with a nominal voltage of 12 V and a capacity of 18 Ah. Designed for a service life of 10–12 years, the electrolyte is absorbed into porous glass-fiber separators and the battery uses an internal gas recombination cycle to minimise electrolyte loss. One-way self-regulating pressure relief valves prevent excessive pressure build-up, allowing safe installation in occupied rooms without forced ventilation.
