Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) ENERGENIE by Gembird EG-UPSO-3000 — Double-conversion Online, 3 kVA / 2700 W, 5 Type F outlets, 9 Ah VRLA
The ENERGENIE by Gembird EG-UPSO-3000 is a double-conversion (Online) Uninterruptible Power Supply that provides continuous, regulated power at 3 kVA / 2700 W. Housed in a tower form factor, it integrates an LCD status display, a sealed lead‑acid VRLA battery rated 12 V / 9 Ah, five Type F AC outlets and a C14 input coupler. The UPS performs AC-DC-AC conversion to isolate output from input disturbances, offering consistent sine-wave output suitable for servers, networking equipment and other sensitive electronics that require clean power and reliable battery backup.
The online double-conversion topology ensures continuous, fully regulated output with no transfer time when switching to battery, protecting connected devices from sags, surges, frequency variations and harmonic distortion. The included VRLA battery provides runtime for graceful shutdown or continued operation during mains outages, while the LCD panel supplies real-time information on input/output voltages, load level and battery status. Five Type F outlets allow convenient connection of multiple devices, and the tower design fits standard server rooms, small data closets and office environments where space and accessibility matter.
Install the UPS on a stable, level surface in a ventilated environment away from direct heat sources and moisture. Connect the UPS input to a properly rated mains outlet using a compatible cable for the C14 inlet. Attach critical equipment to the Type F outlets, prioritizing servers, networking hardware and storage devices. Power on the UPS and verify the LCD displays normal input and output voltages and battery status. For extended installations, configure any available monitoring or shutdown software according to device instructions to enable orderly shutdown when battery runtime is depleted.
Ensure periodic visual inspection of battery condition and ventilation paths; replace the VRLA battery according to service life or if the runtime falls below operational needs. Balance connected load to remain within rated continuous output (2700 W), avoid non-linear loads that may reduce battery runtime, and allow the UPS to perform a full charge cycle after initial installation to optimize battery performance.
