Uninterruptible Power Supply Gembird UPS-PC-652A
Uninterruptible Power Supply Gembird UPS-PC-652A
The Gembird UPS-PC-652A is a line-interactive uninterruptible power supply designed for desktop systems and small office equipment. With a rated capacity of 0.65 kVA (390 W) and an internal sealed lead–acid (VRLA) battery (12 V, 7 Ah), this tower-form UPS provides short-term backup power, automatic voltage regulation (AVR) and surge protection to help maintain uninterrupted operation during brownouts, brief outages and voltage spikes. The unit includes three AC outlets (C13/C14 types), audible and visual alarms, and LED status indicators for straightforward monitoring.
The UPS combines automatic AC voltage regulation and surge-protected output sockets to stabilise incoming mains voltage and protect connected devices from harmful surges and short-circuits. Built-in audible and visual alarms together with LED indicators provide immediate status information. The internal VRLA battery includes overcharge and over-discharge protection to extend battery service life and ensure reliable backup when mains power fails. The compact tower design and black finish allow easy placement beside a PC or in a small workspace.
Place the UPS on a stable, flat surface with adequate ventilation and connect the UPS to the mains supply. Plug the equipment to be protected into the provided AC outlets. Use the unit's LEDs and audible alarms to confirm normal operation and battery charge status. During mains failure the UPS will switch to battery mode automatically; observe the remaining run-time limitations based on the connected load. Recharge the internal battery after extended outages and follow local battery disposal rules when replacement is required.
To maximise service life and reliability, avoid exposing the UPS to high ambient temperatures, heavy dust or moisture. Use it to protect devices with combined power consumption within the rated 390 W limit. Periodically perform a controlled shutdown of connected equipment to prevent data loss and replace the internal VRLA battery according to the manufacturer's recommended interval or when reduced runtime is observed.
