Product information

Description

The Epson SureColor SC-P900 Inkjet Photo Printer Colour 5760 x 1440 DPI A2 Wi-Fi Ethernet LAN is a professional-grade printing device designed to deliver exceptional image reproduction and fine art quality. Engineered to handle formats up to A2 size, this inkjet photo printer utilizes an advanced multi-colour ink system to achieve remarkable colour accuracy, deep blacks, and smooth tonal gradations. It combines reliable mechanical feeding with modern connectivity options, making it a robust solution for professional photographers, graphic designers, and print studios seeking dependable output quality.

Advantages

This professional photo printer offers outstanding resolution capabilities, allowing users to produce gallery-quality prints with fine detail and broad colour coverage. Its extensive set of printing colours, including specialized black inks and violet tones, ensures precise monochrome and vibrant colour reproduction across various media surfaces. The device supports flexible media handling, accommodating cut sheets, thick art paper, postcards, and roll media, which expands creative possibilities for panoramic and large-format projects. Built-in network integration through Ethernet and Wi-Fi facilitates seamless placement within modern studio environments and supports convenient mobile printing workflows.

Suitable for

Professional photography printing and portfolio creation
Fine art reproduction on specialized art and photo paper
Exhibition-quality poster and panoramic printing using roll media
Design studio projects requiring accurate colour proofing

When it may not be suitable

This device is specifically optimized for high-resolution photo and fine art output, making it less suitable for high-speed office document printing or heavy-duty daily text workflows. Due to its specialized photographic ink configuration and focus on premium print quality, it may not meet the volume and speed requirements of busy general office environments.

Connect the printer to your computer or local network using USB, Ethernet, or Wi-Fi, and install the required printer drivers and colour management software. Send your properly formatted image files from a compatible computer or mobile device, selecting the correct media profile to ensure optimal colour accuracy and ink placement before initiating the print job.

What to consider before purchase

Physical dimensions and workspace availability for an A2-capable printer
Compatibility of your operating system with the printer drivers and software
Specific media types you intend to use, such as rolls or heavy art paper
Consumable costs associated with maintaining a multi-colour photo inkjet system

Usage recommendations: For optimal longevity and consistent print quality, use genuine Epson inks and recommended fine art or photo media profiles. Perform regular nozzle checks and print head cleaning cycles if the device remains idle for extended periods to prevent ink drying and maintain precise droplet placement.
