Printer Epson EcoTank L8050 Dye Ink Black
The Epson EcoTank L8050 Dye Ink Black is a compact, front-facing ink tank photo printer designed for low-cost, high-volume colour photo output. It uses 70 ml replacement ink bottles and an integrated ink tank system to deliver up to 2,100 10×15 cm photos from a full set of inks. The printer supports high-resolution output up to 5760 × 1440 dpi, accepts paper sizes up to A4 (maximum print size 20×30 cm), and offers built-in Wi‑Fi for convenient mobile and laptop printing.
The EcoTank L8050 lowers running costs by replacing cartridges with high-capacity refillable tanks and economical 70 ml ink bottles that feature fast key-lock, drip-free nozzles for simple refills. Heat-Free Micro Piezo printhead technology reduces energy consumption while maintaining photo-quality prints. The unit is compact, supports duplex printing, and includes replaceable maintenance parts such as the maintenance box and pickup roller to minimise downtime. A standard 1-year or 50,000-page warranty provides additional assurance.
Fill the front-facing ink tanks using the supplied 70 ml ink bottles by aligning and locking each bottle into the tank inlet; the drip-free nozzles and key-lock mechanism simplify the refill process. Load photo paper in the appropriate tray or feed slot, select the desired photo size and print quality from your computer or mobile device, and print via Wi‑Fi or a connected workstation. For printing on PVC cards or discs, place the media according to the printer manual and select the correct media type in the driver settings. Replace the maintenance box and pickup roller when prompted to maintain reliable operation.
Use genuine Epson dye inks and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for refilling and maintenance. Keep the printer on a stable, dust-free surface and perform periodic maintenance checks to ensure consistent photo quality and minimise the risk of clogging or media feed issues.
