Product information

Description

The Epson SureColor SC-P20500 is a professional large format inkjet printer designed to deliver exceptional high-resolution colour output for demanding commercial production workflows, fine art printing, and graphic arts. Combining advanced inkjet technology with a versatile 12-cartridge colour configuration, this device achieves precise colour reproduction and wide colour gamuts essential for professional results. Equipped with Ethernet LAN connectivity, a built-in display, and robust roll media handling, it integrates smoothly into professional studio and production environments.

Advantages

The Epson SureColor SC-P20500 offers exceptional print quality through its high maximum resolution and advanced 12-colour configuration, ensuring smooth gradients and accurate colour matching. Its reliable inkjet technology handles continuous production efficiently, while built-in network connectivity allows multiple users to access the device seamlessly within an office or studio network. The inclusion of PostScript 3 page description languages ensures accurate processing of complex vector and raster graphics without compatibility issues.

Suitable for

Fine art photography printing and exhibition reproductions
Commercial graphic arts and poster production
Indoor signage and promotional material creation
Professional photo labs and print service providers

This printer may not be suitable for small office environments that require multi-function capabilities such as scanning and copying, as it is a dedicated printing device. Additionally, businesses that rely strictly on wireless Wi-Fi connectivity might find the lack of wireless support restrictive, as this model requires an Ethernet LAN or USB cable connection.

Key specifications

Print technology: Inkjet colour printing
Maximum resolution: 2400 x 1200 DPI
Number of print cartridges: 12 individual cartridges
Printing colours: Vivid light magenta, Black, Cyan, Green, Light cyan, Orange, Photo black, Pigment grey, Violet, Vivid magenta, Yellow
Page description languages: PostScript 3
Connectivity: Ethernet LAN and USB port
Media type: Roll media handling
Built-in display and physical product colour options in white and black

To operate the printer, connect the device to your computer or local network using an Ethernet LAN cable or USB port. Load compatible roll media into the paper tray, ensuring proper alignment. Install the twelve individual colour ink cartridges securely into their designated slots. Send your print jobs using compatible graphic design or RIP software supporting PostScript 3, select your desired resolution up to 2400 x 1200 DPI, and monitor print progress using the built-in display panel.

What to consider before purchase

Ensure sufficient physical space in your workspace to accommodate a professional 64-inch large format device
Verify that your network infrastructure supports wired Ethernet LAN connections, as Wi-Fi is not supported
Confirm your workflow is compatible with dedicated printing, as this model does not feature scanning or copying functions
Assess your production volume to ensure the 12-cartridge inkjet system aligns with your consumable budget

Usage recommendations: Regularly monitor ink levels across all twelve cartridges to prevent print interruption during large jobs, and perform routine printhead maintenance to preserve optimal colour accuracy and output quality over time.
