Wall plate / switch cover eQ‑3 Homematic IP HMIP-BRA White — accessory for Homematic IP switches
Wall plate / switch cover for Homematic IP (model HMIP-BRA) in white. This rocker-style cover is an accessory for compatible Homematic and Homematic IP brand switches, designed to provide a finished appearance and protect the switch mechanism while allowing direct operation of Homematic actuators.
The rocker cover enables direct operation of Homematic and Homematic IP actuators on the device and includes directional arrows on the rocker, which makes it suitable for controlling shutters, awnings or blinds. Installation is simple thanks to an adapter already inserted into the rocker that clicks into place on a compatible wireless actuator. The cover is compatible with many Homematic and Homematic IP actuators for brand switches and can be integrated, as an alternative to the supplied frame, into many 55 mm frames from leading manufacturers such as Berker, Busch-Jaeger, ELSO, Gira, merten, JUNG and Kopp.
Remove the existing cover or frame from the compatible Homematic/Homematic IP actuator. Position the rocker cover so the pre-inserted adapter aligns with the actuator and click the cover into place until it engages. If desired, install the supplied frame or mount the rocker cover into a 55 mm frame from a supported brand following the frame manufacturer’s instructions. After fitting, operate the rocker to control the connected actuator (for example, to raise/lower shutters or move blinds).
The rocker cover is intended for use with compatible Homematic and Homematic IP actuators. Verify compatibility with your actuator model before installation. Do not force the cover into incompatible frames or devices; follow the installation instructions of both the actuator and the frame manufacturer.
