Thermostat eQ-3 AG HmIP-WTH-B RF White
The eQ-3 AG HmIP-WTH-B RF White wall thermostat enables intelligent temperature control in a room either via smartphone app, voice assistants or directly on the device. It supports control of multiple radiator thermostats or underfloor heating circuits within the same room. The thermostat has an analogue LC display, runs on AA batteries (1.5 V) and communicates wirelessly with compatible Homematic IP systems for seamless smart‑home integration.
The device allows creation of individual temperature profiles with up to three configurable heating programs and 13 time changes per day. Temperature is regulated automatically and only when required; setpoints can be adjusted in 0.5 °C steps using push‑buttons. A boost function provides rapid temporary heating. The thermostat measures room temperature and humidity and transmits these values to radiator thermostats and the Homematic IP app so current conditions are always visible on the display or in the app. Battery operation and radio communication enable simple retrofit installation without wiring.
Place the thermostat on an interior wall at a representative height for accurate room temperature measurement and insert AA batteries. Pair the device with your Homematic IP system or use it standalone for local control. Configure desired temperature profiles and time schedules via the Homematic IP app or adjust setpoints directly on the device using the push‑buttons. Use the boost button for a short period of increased heating. If controlling electric radiators, install a compatible switch actuator and link it with the wall thermostat for smart on/off control.
For reliable temperature readings, avoid placing the thermostat near direct sunlight, heating elements or drafts. Replace batteries as soon as the app or display indicates low battery to maintain wireless communication and scheduled operation.
