The Homematic IP Access Point 2 is the central communication hub that links Homematic IP smart home devices to the Homematic IP Cloud. It provides wired and wireless connectivity, operates on RF 868.0–868.6 MHz and is supplied from a 100–240 V, 50 Hz mains input with a connected load of 2.5 W. The compact white unit measures 104 × 104 × 40 mm and can be positioned on a desk or mounted on a wall to form the basis for app and voice control of a Homematic IP system.
