To install the Ergom N 13/H BK, thread the locknut onto the male thread of the cable gland from the inside of the enclosure or junction box. Tighten the nut firmly by hand or using an appropriate wrench until the cable gland is securely fixed against the enclosure wall. Ensure that the surface is clean and flat to allow for an even distribution of pressure and to maintain the desired ingress protection rating of the cable entry point.
For optimal performance, tighten the locknut until it is snug against the enclosure wall, but avoid over-tightening to prevent potential damage to the plastic threads. Periodically inspect the installation in high-vibration environments to ensure the connection remains secure.
