Ergom N 36/H BK Polyamide Locknut PG36 Black
The Ergom N 36/H BK is a high-quality polyamide locknut specifically engineered for PG36 cable glands. This robust component is designed to provide a secure and vibration-resistant fastening for cable entries in various electrical enclosures and junction boxes. Manufactured from durable polyamide, it offers excellent mechanical strength and long-term stability, ensuring that cable glands remain firmly in place even in demanding industrial or commercial environments.
This locknut stands out due to its exceptional resistance to environmental stressors, including moisture, dust, and temperature fluctuations. Its polyamide construction provides a lightweight yet highly durable solution that prevents corrosion, making it an ideal choice for long-term electrical installations. The precise threading ensures a smooth and reliable fit with PG36 standard components, facilitating quick and efficient assembly without the risk of cross-threading or loosening over time.
This locknut is designed specifically for PG36 threaded cable glands and will not fit other thread sizes such as metric or NPT standards. It is intended for standard industrial applications and may not be suitable for environments involving extreme chemical exposure or high-impact physical stress where metal alternatives might be required.
To install the Ergom N 36/H BK, first insert the cable gland through the opening of your enclosure. Once the gland is positioned, thread the locknut onto the gland from the inside of the enclosure. Tighten the nut firmly using a suitable wrench or spanner until the gland is securely fixed against the wall of the enclosure. Ensure that the nut is tightened sufficiently to prevent rotation, but avoid over-tightening to maintain the integrity of the polyamide material.
For optimal performance and long-term reliability, ensure that the mating surfaces are clean and free of debris before installation. Regularly inspect the connection during routine maintenance to confirm that the locknut remains tight and that the cable gland assembly is free from mechanical damage.
