Ring Cable Lug Ergom KOR 35/10 tinned copper (MPN E11KM-01020104100)
Ergom KOR 35/10 tinned copper ring cable lug is designed for reliable termination of 35 mm² conductors to stud-type terminals with a 10 mm bolt hole. The lug combines a shaped barrel for secure conductor insertion and a flat ring for stable bolted connection, with a tin-plated finish to improve corrosion resistance and electrical contact. It is intended for use in power distribution, switchgear, control panels and a variety of industrial electrical installations where a compact, durable mechanical and electrical connection is required.
The tinned copper construction offers low electrical resistance and improved conductivity compared with many plated alternatives, while the tin plating adds extra protection against oxidation in typical indoor and some outdoor applications. The lug’s barrel is shaped to accept insulated or stripped 35 mm² conductors and can be crimped or compressed with compatible tooling for a secure mechanical and electrical joint. The flat ring terminal and standard 10 mm bolt hole enable straightforward mounting to stud-type terminals, busbars or other bolted connections.
This lug is intended specifically for 35 mm² conductors and a 10 mm bolt hole; it is not suitable for conductors of significantly different cross-section or for bolts of other diameters without adapter hardware. It is a passive mechanical connector and does not provide insulation, overcurrent protection, or strain relief by itself, so additional measures (insulation sleeves, heat-shrink, protective covers, or cable clamps) may be required depending on the application and safety standards.
Strip the conductor to the correct length and insert the bare conductor fully into the lug barrel. Use a suitable crimping or compression tool rated for 35 mm² lugs to form a gas-tight mechanical connection. After crimping, inspect the joint for correct compression and ensure no stray strands are protruding. Mount the ring terminal onto the stud or bolt and tighten the nut to the recommended torque for the installation to ensure secure electrical contact. Where required, apply insulating sleeves or heat-shrink tubing and secure the cable with appropriate clamps to provide strain relief.
Use industry-standard crimping or compression tools sized for 35 mm² to achieve a reliable, low-resistance joint. For outdoor or corrosive environments, inspect connections periodically and consider additional protective measures such as insulating boots or corrosion-inhibiting compounds.
