Aluminum Connecting End Ergom 2ZA70 (E12KA-01070100500) – aluminum connector, coupling component

Aluminum connecting end Ergom 2ZA70 is a metal coupling component made from aluminum for mechanical joining and connection tasks. The part is designed to join profile sections and structural elements where a lightweight, corrosion-resistant connector is required. Its construction supports use in frame assemblies, conduit systems and repair operations where reliable mechanical connection and minimal additional weight are priorities.

Advantages

The aluminum construction provides natural corrosion resistance and reduced weight compared with steel alternatives, facilitating easier handling and decreasing load on assemblies. The connector delivers consistent geometric accuracy for repeatable fits and straightforward integration into profile and conduit systems. Its surface allows for common finishing or coating processes and the material is compatible with standard mechanical fastening methods.

Suitable for

• Joining aluminum or light alloy profiles in structural frames
• Mechanical coupling in conduit or duct systems
• Repair and retrofit of existing assemblies requiring low added weight
• Applications where corrosion resistance and dimensional stability are needed

Key specifications

• Material: aluminum alloy
• Function: mechanical connector / coupling component
• Typical properties: corrosion resistance and low density
• Application environment: indoor or covered outdoor installations

How to use

Position the connecting end between the mating profile sections or components, align mounting holes or surfaces, and secure with appropriate fasteners or joining hardware compatible with aluminum. Ensure contact surfaces are clean and free of debris before assembly. For installations exposed to moisture or corrosive atmospheres, consider appropriate surface treatment or sealants on joints following manufacturer's guidance for compatible materials.

Usage recommendations

Select fasteners and assembly methods that are suitable for aluminum to avoid galvanic corrosion when mating dissimilar metals. When cutting or machining the connector, use recommended tools for aluminum to maintain dimensional accuracy. Store components in a dry area and inspect connections periodically for loosening or wear in dynamic applications.
