Paper Shredder Esperanza EN103
The Esperanza EN103 paper shredder has a 220 mm working width and cuts documents into chips sized approximately 45 x 4 mm. It accepts up to 10 sheets of 80 g/m² paper per pass and can also destroy credit cards, CD-R, DVD-R and Blu‑ray discs. The compact unit includes an 18 L waste basket and measures 380 mm (W) x 210 mm (D) x 380 mm (H), making it suitable for small offices and home use.
The EN103 combines a compact footprint with a practical 18 L waste container, enabling secure disposal of paper and media while fitting on a desk or shelf. Its 220 mm working width accommodates standard paper sizes and the cross-cut chips provide increased protection compared to straight-cut shredding. The device also supports shredding of plastic cards and optical discs for mixed-media disposal.
Place the shredder on a stable surface and plug it into a grounded outlet. Open the feed slot and insert a small stack of documents (maximum 10 sheets of 80 g/m²) aligned with the feed. For cards or optical discs, insert items individually. Do not overload the feed. When shredding is complete, switch the unit off and empty the 18 L waste basket regularly to maintain performance and avoid jams.
To prolong cutter life, avoid shredding staples, large paper clips, and thick cardboard. If a jam occurs, follow the manufacturer's reverse/standby instructions and remove fragments carefully. Empty the waste basket before it becomes overly full to ensure consistent cutting speed and proper cooling.
