ESSVE SAM 4D Metal Cavity Anchor, 4 pieces

The ESSVE SAM 4D metal cavity anchor is a professional-grade fastening solution engineered for secure mounting in hollow materials. Designed for use in substrates such as plasterboard and other thin-walled structures, this anchor provides a reliable and stable connection for various interior fixtures. The set includes 4 pieces, each featuring a robust metal construction that ensures long-term durability and consistent performance in demanding mounting applications.

Advantages

The primary advantage of the ESSVE SAM 4D anchor is its specialized design which allows for a firm grip behind the wall surface, effectively distributing the load and preventing damage to the material. Its metal composition offers superior strength compared to plastic alternatives, making it ideal for heavier interior items. The installation process is straightforward, providing a secure mechanical lock that remains stable over time, ensuring that your fixtures stay firmly in place without loosening.

Suitable for

• Mounting shelves and storage units on plasterboard walls
• Installing interior lighting fixtures and wall lamps
• Attaching decorative elements and mirrors to hollow structures
• Securing lightweight cabinets or bathroom accessories

This anchor is not suitable for use in solid masonry, concrete, or brick walls, as it is specifically engineered for expansion within hollow cavities. It should also not be used for heavy-duty structural loads that exceed the recommended weight capacity of the wall material itself.

Key specifications

• Material: Durable metal
• Thread size: M4
• Length: 60 mm
• Quantity: 4 pieces
• Application: Hollow wall materials

To install the ESSVE SAM 4D, first drill a hole of the appropriate diameter into the wall material. Insert the anchor into the hole until the flange sits flush against the surface. Use a dedicated setting tool to expand the anchor behind the wall, ensuring the metal wings are fully deployed and locked. Once expanded, you can attach your fixture using the metric M4 thread.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify the thickness of your wall material to ensure compatibility with the 60 mm length
• Check the total weight of the item being mounted to ensure it falls within safe load limits
• Ensure you have the correct drill bit size for the anchor diameter
• Confirm that the substrate is a hollow cavity type rather than solid material

For optimal results, always ensure the anchor is fully expanded during installation and avoid overtightening the screw, which could damage the plasterboard surface.
