ESSVE SAM 6S Metal Cavity Anchor 13 mm x 58 mm, 4 pcs

The ESSVE SAM 6S metal cavity anchor is a professional-grade fastening solution engineered for secure installations in hollow materials. With a diameter of 13 mm and a length of 58 mm, this anchor is specifically designed to provide high load-bearing capacity when mounting objects to plasterboard, fiberboard, or wooden panels. Its robust metal construction ensures long-term stability and resistance to mechanical stress, making it a reliable choice for both residential and commercial interior projects.

Advantages

The primary advantage of the ESSVE SAM 6S anchor lies in its specialized design that allows for an exceptionally strong grip within thin-walled structures. By distributing pressure evenly behind the mounting surface, it minimizes the risk of material damage and ensures that heavy fixtures remain firmly in place. The inclusion of a metric M6 thread provides versatility for various types of screws and bolts, while the high-quality metal composition guarantees durability and consistent performance under load.

Suitable for

• Mounting shelves and cabinets on plasterboard walls
• Installing lighting fixtures and electrical accessories
• Attaching decorative elements to hollow wooden panels
• Securing bathroom accessories in thin-walled partitions

When it may not be suitable

This anchor is not intended for use in solid masonry, concrete, or brick walls, as its expansion mechanism is specifically calibrated for hollow cavities. It should also be avoided in materials that are too thin or fragile to support the required load, as the anchor may cause the substrate to crack or crumble during the tightening process.

Key specifications

• Material: Metal
• Anchor diameter: 13 mm
• Anchor length: 58 mm
• Maximum material thickness: 20 mm
• Thread type: M6
• Quantity: 4 pieces

How to use

To install the ESSVE SAM 6S, first drill a hole in the target material with a diameter matching the anchor size. Insert the anchor into the hole until the collar sits flush against the surface. Use a dedicated setting tool or a screwdriver to tighten the screw, which will cause the metal legs of the anchor to expand and fold securely against the back of the hollow wall. Once the anchor is fully set, remove the screw, position your fixture, and re-insert the screw to secure the item in place.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify the thickness of your wall material to ensure it does not exceed 20 mm
• Ensure you have a compatible drill bit for the 13 mm diameter
• Check the weight of the object to be mounted to confirm it falls within the safe load limits for cavity anchors

Usage recommendations: Always ensure the anchor is fully expanded before applying the final load to the fixture. For optimal results, use a manual screwdriver to avoid over-tightening and damaging the wall material.
